Colmore Capital acquires industrial estate in Featherstone

Colmore Capital has acquired a 30,000 sq ft multi-let industrial estate in Featherstone; the second in its joint venture with Stanhope Capital Partners.

Station Lane, Featherstone consists of a single industrial warehouse extending to 22,959 sq ft and a terrace of eight vacant starter units totalling 6,824 sq ft, located on an established industrial estate 15 miles south-east of Leeds and in close proximity to the M62, providing easy access to the motorway network.

The acquisition is another opportunity to invest and add value to a well-located and in-demand asset, with day one asset management to comprehensively refurbish and re-let the vacant starter units.

Matt Grainger, Director at Colmore Capital, said: “We are delighted to conclude the acquisition of Station Lane, which offers significant reversionary potential and numerous asset management opportunities. The demand for small to medium sized industrial units in established urban locations remains robust, which should support continued rental growth.

The deal was supported by Lloyds, LSH and Wilkes.
